Lol, to be honest…the student body at Tx State doesn’t give a damn about athletics either. They are mainly interested in good music, cold beer, good weed and getting laid. Like Austin used to be 50 years ago, before the Californians and liberals ruined it. Gawd bless the bobcats!

Actually most state grads seem to be aggys.

Doesn’t seem to be true from my experience. Maybe once upon a time

San Marcos is a hell of a time and one of most underrated college towns in the country. Nothing better than floating the San Marcos River on a 75 degree day in March/April and going to the Square afterwards
And I never once met anybody at TXST that has a problem with the Aggies.

San Marcos is a much cooler town than Austin and CS. I say Yes
Totally agree with this. My in-laws moved there 35 years ago. While still a pretty decent town, it was definitely a cooler place back then (before the university ruined the Aquarena Springs, Spring Lake area). But, so was Austin.
Of the three places, strange to say, College Station is the one that has improved the most over that time frame.

As much fun as it is to beat them, currently being better than the school in Austin in baseball isn't that big of a deal. Overrated once again.

Yes Texas baseball right now is overrated. Much like A&M in football every year and basketball.

If anybody is ever in San Marcos you need to check out Cheatham Street Warehouse. It’s where George Strait got his start up and currently Randy Rogers owns the place.
