Freshman quarterback and a very overrated running back. We won the game before that as well, in Texas- think y’all had about 60 total yards... Again, a mediocre Arkansas team. The rivalry is “lopsided” for the same reason that Arkansas left y’all and the rest of the SWC in the dust for the SEC - texas was allowed to control everything and had influence on a level that was determining outcomes. Worked out pretty well for us overall and now y’all have destroyed another conference and expect to come in and dictate terms. Not happening in the SEC - you’re getting equal profit share, horns down without penalties, and your games will be on the Conference network.

Ahh yes the good ole " Texas controlled everything" narrative. that's the default response. Ask for actual proof that argument melts down and falls apart but hey don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

CBS ranked it 13th. Hey at least it was not 14th.

I'll be happy to respond if you want to give me a few examples I can actually respond to
Forgive me but I'm going to need something a little more specific than "always tries to control shite".

The Arkansas vs. UT rivalry is legendary regardless of what people say and both teams are usually hyped. That said, I agree overall that if we beat the shite out of them, things probably won’t go well for the rest of the season. But I could also see if being an outlier if we were to beat them early and they corrected the ship. Hope it goes like last time or better for us.

Yeah I am stoked to renew this rivalry. All shite talking aside it's going to be fun...and intense.

Absolutely agree!

Really mean no offense, but moving to the SEC will hopefully help your younger generations appreciate the college sports experience more. And yes, I see this across campuses, but I know a lot of UT alumni who are disgusted by the lack of interest from kids now. Until Bobby Petrino crashes and burns your program, you have John L. Smith and Brett Bielema as your next to HCs followed by Chad Morris losing to UNT, Western Kentucky, SJSU(I probably missed one) - you haven’t hit rock bottom enough to completely stop going to games. Lol
