Back in 2012, Texas came to Oxford to play Ole Miss. Now, the crowd was overwhelmingly Ole Miss but outside the game, I've honestly never seen an opponent bring that many fans to just be around the game. None of the traditional SEC "big 6" have ever shown the presence in Oxford that Texas did that day. Most of them didn't even make it in the game. There were too few tickets.

I guess my point is that, if you haven't had Texas visit yet, you are in for a big surprise when they do.

I'm guessing that Tuscaloosa will find out this fact tomorrow.

They may be surprised by several things. They might not have caught up with Alabama's talent but they arent far behind. Texas has more money than sense what to do with it but they figured out the new rules quickly.

I'm not talking about football success. I'm talking about the sheer number of fans that will show up to your schools when they play at your stadium. I've never witnessed anything like it.

Penn State brought the most fans I’ve seen to Tuscaloosa. If Texas outdoes PSU that’ll be something.

Texas fans definitely travel for big games. I’m guessing we will have 10-15k in the stands, with a lot more outside hoping to land a ticket.

10-15k isn’t that great tbh. Not awful but not bragable either

Nope, Bama has that place filled. Texas travels but you aren't getting anywhere near 10k inside the stadium in Tuscaloosa.

10k in the stadium would be about normal for Auburn / LSU / Tennessee. 15k would be surprising and a lot

I’m just guessing.. we got 5000 right? I would say 10k+ is a pretty good bet. There are a lot of groups that go to at least 1 road game a year, and they are all going to Tuscaloosa. Maybe they don’t alll tickets though. We shall see.

That Texas blonde beauty that I said “nice boots” to that thought I said “nice boobs” and was so disgusted with me as a result just popped in my mind again.

well then it’s a good thing.

1) I’m not trying to impress you or anyone else

and

2) I could give a shite what you think

So kindly go pour some more tears in your beer and keep STSDB..

and go ahead..

3) Waste your time and tell me again how “unimpressive” it is.. I still won’t care either way
