Did you watch Joe Montana win a few Super Bowls with "short passes, slants and crosses"? Its not how deep the pass is, its how well they execute and how far they guy goes AFTER he catches it. McCoy is a great field general and a better runner than McElroy ever thought about being...better than Tebow in the break away, though not as good of a fullback.
I am all for SEC, but all this discussion based on a huge rivalry game is like basing an evaluaiton of AU and UA or UF and FSU on that game.
Texas will give either UF or UA more game than most gators or bama fans would like to believe.

After that game I think PAC 10 is 2nd best conf in the world. Muschamp did so well at AU.... Maybe it's just the lack of recruiting talent cause we all know defense wins championships but offense sell's tickets and recruiting resources only go so far.(read into that whateva u want). Hmmm TX vs bammers for BCSNC bammers 38 (and waste a half trying not to give up a turnover) and TX 17..

Big 12 Defense? HAHAHAHA there is no such thing score 49 and give up 39 will never work against almost any SEC team even the ones at the bottom.
