Texas is soft as Charmin. It's gonna be a bloodbath. Take notes from your rival Oklahoma on how to act.

Texas beat the SEC champion by double digits on the road, but wouldn’t have been good enough to make it to the sec championship game? ?

Huge difference in playing 1good team vs playing good teams week after week. Texas wouldn't understand that but you will very soon.

The same people that say this will also say Texas has an easy schedule.

That’s weird. Texas had a tougher strength of schedule than all but one SEC team last year (who they beat by 10 on the road).

So you’re saying it’s about to get easier for Texas? Good to know!

I'd expect your school to do what they did last time. Go pay the league office to fight your battles for you.

Don’t forget the part about the SEC already showing favoritism and giving us a cupcake schedule. Of all the tired narratives here, wouldn’t want that counterpoint to get lost.

You're typing all of this about a team you haven't beaten since 2008 and living vicariously through Alabama while you do it.

A little self-awareness would do you some credit.

You… you do realize the post I was replying to specifically brought up Alabama first, right? I mean, I know you went to Arkansas and reading is pretty hard for you and all, but that shouldn’t have been hard to decipher there

Also, haven’t Texas and Arkansas only played 2 times since 2008? congrats on beating Charlie strong and a team that lost to Kansas I guess?

Since 2008, would you rather have Texas’ football accomplishments or Arkansas’? For some reason, razorback fans really love dodging that question lol

And you've lost by a combined score of 71-28 with generous garbage time scores included. Oof.

I didn't realize the mighty Texas had to be "up" to be superior to cellar dwellers like Arkansas coached by drunkards like Bert.

The Petrino era alone matches anything Texas has done. I'll pass on attaching myself to the most underachieving program in the nation.

all these cow horn twinks trying to pull off some "rough & tough texan" vibe seems strange.right? they just don't get it...

we're glad to have texas & oklahoma join, but we also understand this conference & what it takes to succeed in it... of course some new kid acting like they own the SEC is gonna get railed on lol/smh.

perhaps a "wait & see" approach would be wiser?

truth is, no matter how proud they are to be a "texan" - it holds little weight in the deep South..
I'll personally attest that being from the wonderful state of Alabama - we really don't give a damn where ya from..

it's earned down here, always has been & always will be...

no amount of strutting & crowing bout their beloved texas will change that.. hell, all that texas talk just means they herald from the land where "men are men & the sheep are nervous."
