Forgive me. Maybe I’m ignorant to it, but why all the hype? Mond is gone and they don’t have an experienced QB and we all know how that goes. That being said what am I missing?

Everyone sees their own teams through rose colored glasses. I see a ton of talent on the offensive line even if it’s not proven. The schedule in the beginning of the year is soft allowing for a gelling period. Haynes King has talent as well. He will make some mistakes for sure but how many is the question.

A&M has the most delusional fan base in the SEC.

You mean delusional like “we went 5-5 last season but we’ll go 11-1 or 10-2 next year”? We can only hope to ever attain that level of delusion. Kudos to you guys.

The lack of self awareness is stunning.

Why are you asking us? Take it up with the prognosticators, if they are so wrong. This same thread has been started multiple times now. If it’s all delusion, take it up with those supplying the hype. Assuming they all haven’t been paid off by Aggy, right???

We'll see Auburn at Kyle Field on November 6th. All of your questions will be answered on that day.

Fair enough question. You may have missed the memo, but a good portion of the A&M fanbase considered Mond to be more of a limitation than an asset. He had a very high floor but a fairly low ceiling. His best attribute is he made very few mistakes. But outside of a couple anomaly games where he was uncharacteristically “on”, he was more of a game manager. It’s the running back stable that has elevated the team.

The offensive line, while may not contain a lot of household names, should have a slow start, but finish the year every bit as good or better than last years.

1. 9 returning starters on defense
2. Every offensive skill player back except Mond
3. 4 preseason all-Americans
4. Very highly rated classes last three yearsz
5. #4 in nation last year

One team was soft as hell on that schedule, that’s for damn sure.

Easy. They have one of the Top 3 coaching staffs in foots, they have Top 3 facilities, they have more money than anyone else in the SEC, their defense will be #1 again the SEC this year, they have the best staple of 3 RBs in the SEC. Not to mention Fisher has had Top 10 classes since he became coach & finally has 2 deep players across the board for his pro style offense. Enough said bitches.

And their new starting QB is the 2nd fastest player on their roster with veteran group of WRs not to mention arguably the best TE in foots. Enough said again bitches.

Just time for the Ags to prove that last year is only the beginning of the upward trend to compete immediately against Bama.

LSU is a joke until they fire Ed O and actually get a legit coaching staff. Keep hating while we keep building and winning.

If only we played Texas, our schedule would be SUPER soft.

A&M fans will finally have the answer to the question we've wondered for years now. Why won't Mond throw it deep? Is it him, or the receivers? Judging from Mond in the NFL so far, I'm betting the first.

A&M is going to be VERY good by the end of the year, and that same OL will basically all come back the next year. How fast can the new OL gel before week six is the big question.

Because we’re good. If you think Mond was the main reason then you haven’t been paying attention.
