If we play that LSU team in november we beat them

So like, 10 days later?
ETA: That's just wishful thinking. The LSU defense is a nightmare matchup for the aTm offense. You lost at home and did basically nothing offensively for the final 3 quarters of the game.
I think Alabama, Georgia, LSU, aTm, and South Carolina (and Florida until the end of the season) were all relatively close that year. Any of them could have won the conference or beat the other on any given day. However, some teams matched up better against others. And the one LSU matched up the best with was aTm.

Nice call.
It's always nice to see the usual suspects' usually inaccurate opinions get dredged back to the light.

A&M wouldn't have lost to Clemson. A&M was a top 5 team. LSU wasn't a top 10 team.

Meh. Because we lost a meaningless game to Clemson?
We beat a top 10 team and a top 5 (according to you) on the road.
I'd say LSU was realistically a top 10 team that year.

Part of the consideration in that, yes.
A&M was better than LSU even though they lost to them. Alabama was better than A&M, even though they lost to them. I don't get why y'all can't admit this.

Depends. Are you envisioning being on the giving end or the receiving end?
