I would love to have him back, but he would be stupid not to go if he is projected first rounder.
Fact is, with A&M's schedule and returning players next year, we will probably go 7-5. Even with Johnny coming back, the best I see us doing would be 9-3. His draft stock would not improve, and risk getting hurt for another mediocre season.

So now he can sign/sell his autographs legally. IF he is a first rounder, look at all the teams who need an NFL ready QB & who is he a fit with? I agree, he ran away & around SEC defenders. But look at the injuries his "peers" in the NFL have sustained..just the ones Vick & RG took this yr.And both are big boys compared to him.

His only non self inflicted injury was when he got gang tackled to the turf by a about a combine weight of 800, all onto one shoulder. And he still was only out for 1.5 series

There are very few Ags who expected him to be back next year. We got dat boy Kyle Allen, #1 QB recruit in the nation, coming in to fill Manziel's place at Quarterback U
