lsu will never reach the level of our offense, at least not under Miles. that's a fact any rational lsu fan would admit.

with Chavis, though, our defense will now, at the least, rise to their level, and possibly even exceed it.

we are a much, much more complete team than lsu, and I think we really have become that monster type team that lsu put together from 03 to 07.

With no hardware, 1 RB, 2 QBs, no LBs, and never beating lsu.

Good thing we're not your measuring stick.

Remember 2013 when we had Mettenberger, Odell, and Jarvis Landry aka a great offense? Yeah we still gave up 44 to Georgia,
38 to Alabama, and 27 to a crappy Ole
Miss team. Chavis doesn't make complete teams

You'd think A&M fans would learn to not overreact over their first game after last season

Over the course of a season Aggie football gonna Aggie football. Sumlin never flops until after Labor Day.

I haven't been real excited about Steele either, but from what little bit of defense we saw last night I'm thinking I might like his scheme.

Really remains to be seen though. Next week.

the 1st game of the season will be an indicator of how the rest of season will go.

A team that wins with a great defense, because it has no QB and a terrible offense?

A&M is overreaction U.

Granted they looked light years better in tackling....

However, ASU looked absolutely terrible on offense. They could have thrown the slant all night.....they never tried to throw the ball deep and when they did they made plays.........its like they didn't watch any film on last years DBs.

Their OLine play was pathetic and couldn't pick up a nickel blitz to save their life.

On offense the Aggies had a non existent control of the line of scrimmage, a majority of their rushing yards came off qb scrambles, and the WR's didn't really seperate themselves from ASU in the game.

I'd be happy if I was an Aggie but I wouldn't be this derp yet.
