Texas A&M had no business whatsoever winning that game

Arkansas is the far more experienced, and right now better, football team. And they’re probably gonna give Bama all they want at home next week.

But we did win, and that’s a big problem for Arkansas. A&M played 27 first and second year players last night. That is an unheard of number in a game between P5 teams. Last night is the biggest gap there will EVER be going forward in Pig’s favor between these two teams and they still couldn’t win.

Now, we just have to keep the offensive players from jumping in the portal. I'm praying that Fisher realizes he has a problem and hires an OC

You probably lost Smith for the year. Surgery today.

Yeah, Smith is done. Too bad, because he was one of the only upperclassmen on the offense

This game should be a home/home series. That would help the pigs.

Really?

You're in year 5 under Jimbo yet you're slugging it out with a program in year 3 that was an utter dumpster fire just 3 years ago.

For the first time in years, I can say that we were the better team and lost. Sucks.

Congratulations, Ags….you won the game.

We have more raw talent, Arkansas has more experience and a better scheme.

I keep seeing that they beat themselves due to the fumble, but A&M had a ton of dumb penalties that stopped drives and hurt ourselves on offense. And if Moose doesn’t slow down a step probably a 50+ yard touchdown to extend the lead more. Football is a game of inches, lots of “well if we did this” the day after.

Two decent football teams played a close game last night, neither one probably wins 10+ games this season. It was a close one like most have been, and I look forward to another close contest that hopefully falls in our favor next year again. Good luck to the hogs the rest of the season.

The better team wins. Even if it means being opportunistic.

That perfectly sums up a Jimbo Fisher coached team

Y’all win games you shouldn’t and lose games you should win

I would say A&M has better talent across the board other than QB and half of the OLine.

What makes Ar-Kansas a better team is the coaching and motivation. Put A&M players on the razorback team and it’s top 3 in the nation.

A&M has had multiple top 10 recruiting classes over the last 10 years, and Arkansas hasn't been close to matching that. The talent level really isn't all that different than what it has been. The thing that concerns me is how many times we've choked down the stretch in this particular game, despite the talent difference that has and likely will always be there. A&M hasn't had vastly superior coaching save for the time we had Chad on our sidelines. Jimbo isn't going to win an NC there, and the guy y'all replace him with won't either. Other than that, I agree, and that could be copied and pasted at the end of a lot of the games against y'all since y'all joined the conference.

I made a similar point last night, that this was probably the last time we had a chance at winning the SWC for a few years. IF (and that's a big IF) Jimbo can keep all that talent until they're upperclassmen, A&M will be very dangerous in a year or two.

Not to mention Arkansas loses most of its major contributors after this season.

If the Aggies can manage to keep the portal out of the program closed and maybe hire a legit OC, they'll give everyone fits when their talent gains experience

And while that sucks for him, it just cleared up playing time and probably ensures playing time for players that would have entered the portal.

If Anias stays and plays every game we struggle less but lose more players to transfer.

But it does suck not to have him. But there’s a silver lining.

I think we can all admit it was way more than a fumble.

It was really three mistakes that cost them the game

The fumble returned for a TD (6 points for A&M)

Turning Ainias loose in coverage and allowing us to convert a 2nd and 32 (3 points for A&M)

The bad snap on the last drive (cost them 3 points as the kick would have been good from 10 yards closer)

Any one of those mistakes isn’t made and they win

Who is that Muhammad guy? It looked like he was purposely trying to get penalties for the aggies.
