That maybe we could keep the game interesting until well into the 4th qtr. i knew Bama was better and we had to play perfect to have a chance. We get a 3 & out, up 14-13 mid 3rd qtr... then give them a 1st down b/c of an inexcuseable late hit on Hurts. They keep ball, score.. then get a Defensive TD .... game over.
Of course I was in a suite with all my Wifes Bama friends... but they're cool, so no biggie.

Good thing you have you have football to lean on because sure as hell cant consistantly beat A&M in anything else. If you go back and look LSU is MAYBE 12-30 against A&M in ever other sport played. Men/women basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, womens soccer, track and field, volleyball and more. Those other sports dont matter till you finally beat us though right....,,,

Yes I must admit that I am an adamant women's volleyball fan. It was a dirty secret that I had hoped not be revealed so thanks!

I donno how A&M fans felt, but Coach O was interim head coach at this time for LSU.
