We've had a few Matthews play for A&M. There were two Matthews brothers that both played many years in the NFL, and then they spawned NFL ready children. I think they pretty much all played in the NFL. or are going to, except for one. Rumor has it Bruce Matthews (the father of Jake, and who played 14 years in the NFL) is still a crazy good athlete.

Clay played for USC, Casey played for Oregon and their younger brother is at USC.
Bruce played for USC and 1st 2 boys have played for A&M.

Clearly, money is not an issue with jake Matthews. I don't know of any of our juniors that have this kind of apparent financial backing fwiw.
