Texas has arguably been the biggest underachiever in college football the past 50 years, probably not a great comparison.

I just wanted to post in this thread.

The collapse of the Arkansas program over the last year has been the greatest thing to happen to this message board. I encourage all Arkansas fans to continue posting.

Now many recruits will choose A&M first and Texas second.
By your reasoning you should have only been 2nd to Texas in the SWC and Big 12 then right? How often did that happen? Whether you want to admit it or not A&M will rarely overtake the Whorns in recruiting instate. Just moving to the SEC will not give you the advantage that they have had for years.

Lol people constantly talking about how we are going to get stomped on by other sec teams and then complain about A&M running their offense the entire game.

You realize we have a whole new staff with a whole new system and a freshman QB who has never played a down of college football before this season right? Throw in the fact that we are playing in the best conference in the country this season and it's pretty obvious that we could use the extra practice and experience.

Of course Alabama or whoever stopped throwing the ball and ran up the middle every time. They have had the same staff with the same system and the same players for the last 5 years or whatever it is. We don't have the luxury .

Johnny Football's 557 yards of total offense broke a 48-year-old SEC record held by none other than Archie Manning.
