a) everyone for about 8 months said we just destroyed our program and were going to be terrible for 15 years. if you are going to dish it out on a level that everyone was, expect to get it thrown back

who was saying this? I thought it was a consensus that moving to the SEC was the best move? most people probably didn't see yall doing as well as last season, but no one knew about JFF then, either.

I can't comment on what our record would've been w/o JFF. Bottom line: We did have him.
Once again, another fan who's threatened when another school's teams/programs don't suck. Seems to be an overarching SEC theme. Not exactly sure why? At least in the B12, folks despised each other for important infractions like stealing beer (Baylor), having trans-gendered/unisex restrooms (UTex), and tearing down goalposts & ramming them into the opponents' section of the stands (classless clowns ... er ... Texas Tech).

what? I don't remember people saying your program was gonna be shite because of moving to the SEC. I do remember people saying yall won't do well because of the SEC dominance. I thought most people saw yall's move to the SEC as a good move and would better your program, but I guess I'm wrong.

I know and I usually hate using those hypotheticals, but it needed to be said because of Aggie fans acting like their offense is God's gift to Earth. The point I was making is that without JFF being on another level, you're offense would be mediocre.

You misunderstood. My point was that B12 teams, on the whole, found reasons to loathe each other; but they didn't feel the need to explain away other teams' success in order to augment their own self worth. On the contrary, never-ending pissing contests are rampant over here (e.g., which SEC school has the best campus/coordinators/women/town/website/famous alumni/restaurants/blah blah blah).
I'll be sure to thank you for your feliciades the next time we "whoop the arse" of another conference opponent.
