Lost in all this Manti stuff is how many people are on Lou Holtz' suicide watch detail.

Back to Te'o and off the textbooks. Has anyone ever seen a photo of Manti with a (real) girl, not his mama, sister or cousin?

Troy, he's gay! No doubt about it. He should have been a priest.

This is the ND hype train.
How many times did you hear Bama-ND was the game "America wants to see"? I've been arguing for a long arse time that Manti, imo, is the single most overrated football player of the BCS era. Hell, our second best LB was suspended 4 games and still put up better numbers than Te'o. It all boiled down to his bs story about overcoming tragedy, which now is fake. My only regret is that Bama took their foot off the gas in Miami. Te'o deserves his draft stock to fall.

He had the sad story to supplement the ND brand (overrated). Where is Tim Brown when I need him? Has he been seen since 1/7?

djackson1892,
Te'o can't survive in the NFL. Bama completely mauled him. If he can't tackle Lacy and shed blocks from Bama's offensive line then he can't make it in the NFL. Any team that burns a draft pick on this guy deserves him.

He also looked like he was playing in mud, but most of them did. Motta was the exception.

I just mean in general AU > Bama and has been for many decades.
Only just. Since 1980 Auburn is 17-16 against Alabama.
In that same period of time, here is the hardware the two teams have racked up:
Alabama: 6 SEC Championships; 4 national championships
Auburn: 6 SEC Championships; 1 national championship

And here we go......
Damage control! Spin, spin, spin.

Follow Eric Adelson ?@eric_adelson https://ESPN.com account of Te'o interview said he was affected in BCS game. Just spoke with Jeremy Schaap ...

Follow Eric Adelson ?@eric_adelson Schaap cited a "typo in the transcript" and Te'o said he was NOT affected in the BCS game.
Damage control! Spin, spin, spin.

i thought it was weird at the time watching him run out of the tunnel, he looked real subdued. looking back we know why. with or without the hoax they still get prison raped.

Bama has a better football program through all of eternity though, that is obvious.

It could have affected HIS performance, none of us really know
but it didn't matter, he could have made every tackle and bama still wins the game by 20
but Im sure some Bama folks got their thongs deep up in their crack over this

Thorough investigation by ND:
quote:
The South Bend Tribute cites sources close to the program as saying the investigation was limited to an electronic search only and included no interviews with Te'o, his family or anyone else involved in the case, including Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man accused by Te'o of being the mastermind of the hoax.
The report also said investigators did not examine cell phone records, e-mails or other electronic communication to determine any details Te'o's communication over the past few years with the person claiming to be Lennay Kekua, nor did the university ask Te'o to take a lie detector test.
The primary evidence upon which Notre Dame officials appeared to make their determination that Te'o was the victim of the hoax came from a group of tweets uncovered by the investigators that included a discussion about Te'o being the victim of a "catfish" scheme, a reference to a documentary and television series of the same name involving online identity fraud.
