Figured this would be on this board today but see you posted this here early am yesterday while I recovered. Rumors were pretty strong on message boards and radio shows Saturday night.

I find these rumors interesting even though I think y’all lose even with Banks on Saturday. I do think something happened within the team and am waiting to see what happens with Banks going forward. You’re without Hooker now and wonder if you will also end up without Banks, too.

Dude, you didn't know that the TN defense got together before the game and "decided not to play"?

It's one thing if they already had multiple losses but it's just full retard to suggest a team in the thick of making the CFP would do that. FFS, Vols hadn't been relevant this late in the season in 21 YEARS...

There have been issues for a couple of weeks and it boiled over this week. Several defensive players took Bank’s side and their effort showed it. There is also tension between Heupel and his DC, but the admin won’t allow a firing right now. Reminds me of Butch’s 2016 team with internal conflict.

This is real test for Heupel and will determine if he will be successful going forward.

The rumor I am hearing is that Jerrimie Banks and Hooker got into a fight during Friday’s practice.

I will be honest with you. After watching that video of Banks being arrested, the fact that he is not only still on the team but an important part of the defense tells me everything I need to know about your football team. I believe in second chances but if I was that coach that second chance would be at a different school.

If a fight between star players caused a big loss, then that is far worse than losing straight up. Oh well, you’ll always have that one TSIO in 15 tries.

There's a better chance Bama was behind Logan Young's "accidental" death than this being true.

If true, then I agree. The true measure of a HBC is how he handles internal strife with his players, and how he selects, delegates, and replaces members of his staff with regard to his overall vision.

If true, Josh is staring his entire future, at UT, in the face as we speak. He controls his own destiny with his decisions.

Heupel is not a character coach. Tennessee will never win the whole deal unless they get a generational QB like Burrow. Otherwise they need a character coach who knows how to remove cancer when he finds it.

It’s not a rumor that your defense decided not to play. That was clearly evident.

I’m sure you can find a replay out there somewhere and watch it again. Maybe the score will change this time around but I doubt it.

A lot of LSU fans are still waiting for the behind the scenes truth that explains 1/9/12.
