Congrats Mizzou on beating UT during their worst stretch since 1903-1906....you really accomplished something. Those days are over and CoMo will be battling KY and Vandy for last place in the East.
If I was Missouri I'd be more concerned about enrollment tanking and your President sending out letters telling the world how bad things are.

I don't think anyone short of Saban can turn it around at Tennessee.
Kiffin saw that UT was a program going under. Dooley, for all of his faults, at least tried for three years to revive the program before leaving for the NFL.

I honestly think if Kiffin had stayed in Knoxville, we would have won the east twice by now, but we would also be on probation. And he would be back as an HC in the NFL.
That said...
I agree with ohiovol, after Oklahoma and Florida last year I was over Butch. I'm not on the hype train because of the quality of teams we did beat to get to 9 wins. The talent is there to win the east this year. No excuses. If he gets it done, I will warm to him. I think deep down he is a good guy and the players buy into him. I'm honestly more excited to see what Shoop does with that defense more than anything.

I disagree, Georgia SHOULD have won it.
We COULD have won it if we hadn't blown the UF game.
We were a very young team last year and SHOULD not have won it.
This year we are in the SHOULD category though.
