How will you react?

Before you say, "Won't happen," remember that Tennessee lost to Mizzou's 2012 team at Neyland, and that 2012 Mizzou team was the worst Mizzou team in over a decade.

Well, 2015 Mizzou may give 2012 Mizzou a run for her money, but we'll more than likely still pull one or two upsets.

Question is: What happens if this Mizzou team upsets Tennessee?

It may happen.

We wouldn't be surprised.

Any more questions?

Tennessee will lose. Pinkel would coach circles around Jones with a high school JV squad

The 2012 Tennessee team was their worst defense in a century...

No Tennessee fan should be saying "won't happen" about Tennessee losing any game this season.

You aren't going to find any sunshine pumpers in here that are going to come out fired up talking shite about beating any team right now.

Yes, and to be fair we only have one loss so Mizzou could still pull magic out of our asses. However, Pinkel is being classic stubborn Pinkel and choosing to stay with Mauk instead of switching to Drew Lock like he should've done two games ago.

Due to Pinkel's blind loyalty to Mauk, Mizzou will not compete for the SEC East this year...and Pinkel doesn't care. He'd rather make a point than win the division again. What's the point? That Pinkel doesn't give up on upperclassmen even if they perform poorly.

Is it right? Debatable. I don't think it's smart but then again I'm not Pinkel.

I can tell you this: If Lock had played the entire game against Kentucky, we'd have won that game by two possessions.

If Pinkel sticks with Mauk (which he will), Mizzou may experience a 2012 type season (5 wins at most).

If Pinkel goes with Lock now, we may pull out 9 or 10 wins while setting up the next two seasons as conference and playoff contenders.

But we won't...

I'm not trolling you all. I'm just in a round about way saying that Mizzou, in my opinion, is a must win for Butch if I'm a Tennessee fan. Mizzou is looking like the weakest team in the East. Butch cannot afford to lose that game.

I predicted 8-4. That may prove to be optimistic.

We are 0-3 against mizzou. History tells me that we have no chance.

I don't know why he keeps Mauk in, but Pinkel is one of the best pure coaches in the Sec without question. He does more with less than most coaches. I remember he kept his coaches during bad times and everyone was calling for his head and seems like that worked well in the end.. I'd say just trust the guy. He's earned the faith.

Which is why you didn't see Mizzou fans (by and large) melting after the Kentucky loss, or at least our melt was very dull compared to other prominent melts.

We love Pinkel! He's the best coach Mizzou's ever had and we know it.

However, he still deserves criticism when he won't play the best player simply because he's far too loyal to his upperclassmen.

In my opinion you should play the best player. Period.

No idea why Pinkle wont just let the best man play. Mauk is bad and the season is most likely lost so give the young guy of the future some experience.

Well, they are 40 seconds from being in contention for the east crown this year. Does that count?

Couldn't have said it better myself. It is time to let Lock play.
