Chris Mack should get a strong look from both Bama and UT. Xavier has gone to Sweet 16 5 out of the last 8 years.

he makes me feel so old. i remember disliking him immensely back in the day, i remember him having to run off the court to puke one game (good times). and now he's middle aged, as am i.

Hoiberg if he doesn't go to the NBA. Making 2 million a year for 10 at Iowa State but his buyout is only 2.

Hoiberg will likely retire at Iowa State.

I think Mike White is eventually going to be the guy.

Whether by their own doing or not, the Tenn. job is probably seen as a bit "toxic" right now for big name coaches. White just finished another season in a great turnaround at La. Tech with no NCAAT berth. He's a Louisiana native, but you know it has to be frustrating that all of his great work again is for naught based upon one game in the conf. tournament.

The Ole Miss job isn't opening up for him anytime soon and despite the dysfunction right now in Knoxville, there is still a lot of great potential in that program. It makes too much sense for him not to go.

List is terrible. Hurley brothers don't have much to judge on. I don't care how good of players they were in college. Prohm at Murray can't get to the NCAAt. Murray wins regardless of who the coach is.

Also, do not want to reach out to Mike White again. He had his chance and was dumb enough to stay in Ruston, LA and make about 4 times less money than he would coaching have coaching at Tennessee. That tells me he is a fcking idiot.

It's a hot trend and I think coaches are wanting to jump on.

I would almost go the other direction on this one. You're talking Tennessee, which has been extremely unstable from a coaching perspective. You would have to deal with unreasonably high expectations from the get-go, despite the fact that there are several more established coaches surrounding you in the conference. And Kentucky is right in your backyard.

If I have a good thing going at WSU, Utah, or Memphis, it would take a fortune for me to voluntarily (pun) take on that challenge.

Bring Pearl back and let the circus continue.

High expectations? Come on, you aren't even really expected to beat your #1 rival in Kentucky. You have arguably the best basketball facilities in the conference. Jerry Green, Bruce Pearl and Cuonzo Martin all won at Tennessee.
