Tennessee Vols preseason CFP champs! All the hype and bad thread posting paid off! How ever did they do it?

Football only started when Saban arrived ergo we must be new.

What does this mean? Are you insinuating that, to Bama fans, football began when Saban arrived? Really? That is the punchline?

Every joke or insult has to have some basis in reality, no matter how small.

Try again. Make another post and try it again.

There's nothing 'new' about either Tennessee or Bama being powerhouses. To say we're a new powerhouse implies football only recently started and that you don't know about the decade preceding Saban for Bama. Did Bama suddenly become one when he arrived or did an old powerhouse finally decide to get its house in order after doing its damndest to commit seppuku?

As far as insinuating that "Bama fans" believe this or that the answer is no. Quite the opposite, I'm insinuating that bandwagon Bama fans and the incredibly young/ignorant believe football began then. Most Bama fans on here are well aware of both Tennessee's and their own history and there being nothing new about either one.

18-17 from 1980 - Present equals "pretty much beat the crap out of"?

AP titles:

Alabama 9
Tennessee 2

What a powerhouse. Everyone here loves to shoot holes through Alabama's claim to 15, but no one ever questions Tennessee's claim to 6 or 7. Tennessee has 2. The same as Auburn. The same as LSU. 1 more than UGA and A&M. 1 less than UF.

If we're not going to recognize 15 from Bama, there's no need to recognize UT's fanciful half dozen or Ole Miss's 1-3 or whatever they claim.

Yes, just like their 13-10-1 complete domination of Arkansas

Auburn is clearly on another level

Of retardation
