Very experienced. Trey Smith has been noted that he could possibly start at some point in his freshman year. kid is gonna be special.
Having an experienced O line might be the biggest match up here considering how much talent we lost on defense.
We do return Key though.

Who are Tennessee's running backs?
Losing Kamara and Hurd has to hurt.

I gotta think LSU by 10
Unless Coach O just completely mismanages the talent he has at his disposal there should be a pretty big talent advantage for LSU

Who is replacing Dobbs for UT?
How good is this kid?

Our oline is looking improved. Hopefully they can protect better in passing downs. Losing Dobbs is gonna show how much they have improved, for better or worse.

John Kelly is going to really shine this year. If the oline can pave a few holes he will be amazing. He is really quick but run can inside well also. He played a lot after Miss Hurd quit. We have a highly touted RB coming in as a freshman who will probably get carries as well. Kamara was a huge loss but gotta go with the money I suppose.

Where do you like the match up advantages?
I like our chances pretty much across the board.
Not being nasty, just being honest. You're not the team you were 10 years ago.

Dormady or Guarantano for QB. QD is more of an passer but can run. JG is more runner that can also throw. Who knows what CBJ will decide. I would bet to see em both for the first couple of games tho. QD is a junior and JG is a redshirt freshman. Both I believe were 4stars if that really matters.

Naturally one of the Little Dick Syndrome Brigade has to try and make this about Alabubbabammer.
Let's put the Alabama thing in this thread to rest right now, okay? frick Alabama and every inbred son of a bitch that ever put on a Walmart t-shirt and hat with crimson on it.
Now you stick to those two schools in the subject matter, or go to the Bammer board for a circle jerk.

Kelly will be the surprise running back of the SEC this year. Take that to the bank.

well shite Tenn fans I may be a Bammer but assuming LSU has more talent seems pretty reasonable

Currently, no decision has been made on QB sitch. VOLS are expecting Quinten "Quality Dustbin" Dormady will be the starting QB at the start of the season. If he is a bust, you may see Jarrett Guarantano starting by the time LSU arrives in Knoxville.
Both should have better accuracy than Dobbs, but may not have the elusive play making ability that basically saved Lyle's job on many occasions. If our O line is as good as it looks to be, Dormady should have plenty of time to pick apart a secondary.

No doubt LSU has some talent, but so does Tennessee.
I'm not saying LSU isn't talented. I just don't think their talent level is wherr it has been within the past few years. I could be wrong.

What are the strengths of LSU this season?

I have no idea how UT will be. If the coaches are upgrades, particularly on the OL, we'll be decent. If not, we'll be terrible.
Dobbs covered for atrocious blocking, and I'm optimistic the new guy will improve OL play. Will he? I have no idea.
The defense has to be better...doesn't it?

Yeah. No telling.
I fear a let down the next week against the 'Dores either way.

Now now. Be nice. There is virtually nothing else in Bammer except college football worth a second glance.
But for some reason in Birmingham they do love the governor.
