Tennessee and A&M fans, do you ever get sick of seeing the same halftime show every week? I've seen UT put on the same show every year for the last 10 seasons, and I've seen A&M do the same show every time they've performed in BDS.

Yes, this may be an offseason thread, but I've seen both halftime shows within the last 10 days.

A&M's shows are never the same just really similar. I personally do not care for any marching band. I mean I enjoyed PVA&M, but I don't need to ever seen them again. The Mob is funny every once in a while, but it has nothing to do with their music or performance. Just the cheap shots at people.

I can't remember the last time I actually stayed in my seat and paid attention to the halftime show.

Same. I have shite (figuratively, but once literally) to do at halftime.

A&M's shows aren't the same. Sometimes the khaki people walk really close to each other 4 times, sometimes 3. We like to mix it up.

I realize that marching bands originated as part of the military and were used to coordinate troop movements, but if it weren't for football games would there even such a thing as modern marching bands? If it weren't for the captive halftime audience of a football game or playing the national anthem before it starts there isn't much of a need for them. Parades might be shorter, too.

Neither do I, but if I had to watch them, I would prefer some variety.

Stanford band is the only one worth watching.

this season's LSU band halftimes have been a welcome change...

I really like the Aggie band, but all they really do is basic drill with all of the countermarching...

Personally, I would like for UA to allow local bands to play 2-3 songs on a small stage at halftime instead of the marching band. Would help promote local bands and would give them experience playing in front of big crowd. Would also keep more people in their seats.

Being from a military background, I actually like A&M's halftime show with all the precision "military type" marching. That being said, I only see it once every two or three years as opposed to A&M fans who see it every week.

I've sat next to A&M fans on numerous occasions who say they're tired of the same old stuff every week, and wish the band would change up occasionally.

1. The Aggie Band does drills, not shows
2. The marching style might be the same, but the music and formations are different.
3. No, I never get sick of seeing them.

Never get tired of the Aggie Band. Always love it when they bust out the 4 way cross at the end of the season, will almost certainly do it for the LSU game this year.

The Aggie Band does the same music a lot, maybe not in the same year but I can't remember the number of time I've heard Battle of the Green Berets over the years. It's gets old.

I kinda wish they wouldn't change the songs so much. I can't remember the last time I heard TKMOK as part of the halftime show.

I enjoy it a little bit. Been watching it for 30+ years so...

I really enjoy it more than watching a band come out on the field... stand there... and play something from the Sound of Music. This does happen and it really sucks.

Thought the Bama band was good this weekend. They had it going on.
