I understand that this isn't you all sandbagging, but I take nothing for granted when we play UGA.

I will say that it would be very Georgia of us to get housed on the road and then turn around and kick somebody's arse 7 days later.

This is what I am worried about

Goddammit Serraneaux. We just ended the streak that's haunted our program for years, and you still feel like you need validation?

I'm the same way, but looking at the trends I'm not optimistic. Georgia has too many things to fix and Tennessee has played well in big games. I even rewatched the VT game and your team played better than I thought at first. And honestly, Hugh Freeze cut us some slack in the 2nd half last Saturday. I have trouble seeing Georgia lose less than 5 games unless something changes soon.

I think Joshua Dobbs and UT's offense turned a corner in the 2nd half vs. UF, i wouldn't be too suprised to see them start rolling up some serious points the rest of the way

After watchign kelly tear us up on simple read option plays, I don't know how much hope we have against dobbs. Our pass defense (both coverage and rush at the LOS) is just woeful, I mean absolutely awful.

Hopefully being at home plays a part.

Just looking at SEC rankings, on Off. UT is 5th, UG is 10th, in Def UT is 8th, UG 12th, if you look at yards per game on both sides of the ball the two teams are fairly close

The SEC east is really interesting this year, UT, UG, and UF are all teams that could beat one another on any given day

I just hope we compete...

Thats it..

We come out, show some godam emotion and at least try to win.

I think we lose, but man I just want to see us get up and fricking do something.

If this team needs any fricking incentive to get up for this game...or comes in flat...then I don't know what will ever get them going

I predict a good game. Georgia has plenty of speed on Defense and I'm not sure Tennessee can exploit their coverage issues the way chad did. Georgia can run the ball on Tennessee.

I dont know. UGAs defense is actually awful. UT and UF have solid Ds. UGAs secondary cannot hang in because UGA has zero pass rush so UGAs secondary gets shat on...Particularly the Briscoe kid in man coverage.

Surprising too is UGAs offense isnt great.

You get the sense UGA was barely hanging on vs. UNC, Nicholls and Mizzou until finally running into a more complete team and getting demolished.

I have never seen UGA look this average on offense and defense in some time. Ive seen them look average on one unit while being pretty good on the other but not at the same time in the same year.

Trying to be objective here as I an clearly biased against UGA, but I think i am pretty spot on. UT should be able to do pretty much whatever they want on offense against UGA. UT simply needs to stop the run and cover McKenzie. UGAs other receivers cant catch. Also get heat on Eason. He has freshmen jitters after a couple of hits and starts with happy feet and throwing off his back foot.

Until Uga gets better at the line of scrimmage on offense and defense we will never be elite. I expect a loss but I hope we can pull it out somehow.
