This probably a decade ago. We held the basketball midnight madness at Kyle field before a football game. We had pyrotechnics on the field. One malfunctioned and burned the grass. We had about a 1-2 yard dia brown spot. It was spray painted green for the game.

We hired Will Muscramp. It don't get more embarrassing than that.

Only time I've ever heard of a basketball rain delay/cancellation.

Tad Pad was horrible. I have seen nicer arenas at high schools. It was dark. Obviously the roof leaked sometimes. Just terrible.

Urban was sleeping with a grad assistant and his wife was sleeping with one of the coaches. The true reasons why he left at the suggestion of the higher ups at UF. It was going to come out and the best way for the school and Urban to "hide" it was just for him to leave.

We were once crazy enough to hire a career D-line coach to be our head coach.
His name was Mike DuBose and he went 24-23 at Bama with losing records in 2 of his 4 seasons as HC (though, he did manage to win the SEC in 1999).

That's been speculated for a long time, but I'v always heard two different coaches names associated with it, so I assume it is a rumor.

The grad assist was a chick as far as I know.

He would have left for UF eventually, but at least we would have gone to a couple of bowl games in the mean time. We had the talent to get to a bowl game or two back then.
