I don’t see how Baylor losing to a top 25 team in double overtime justifies them being dropped from the top 25.

Teams with a loss shouldn’t be ranked in week 3. Plenty of time to climb back in. Jmho

I think they dropped out. They dropped hard and fast from like #5 in preseason poll, to #8 after week 1 and out at the end of week 2. And I am happy they did.

I am guessing because they were over rated in the first place? It is like the voters feel they have to have so many from the B1G, etc.

If this is true, then it makes zero sense for any program to schedule a big ooc game early in the year.

Why? SOS still matters, some of these games have big payouts. Fans of schools like these games.

Who has Baylor beat that they should be ranked?
