Am I correct in reading that Bert says he isn't going to win if it means having a good offense and bad defense and that the losses last season were awesome?

I am ok with winning titles '10 and '13. I miss the shut down defenses, but don't miss believing Florida was the only school in the SEC who could pick up 3 and 7.

It's easier to score a lot of points to try and win a game than trying to win 17-14, IMO. Teams with high octane O's don't need lights out D's. Auburn has made it to two NC games over the last several years and both times there was vast room for improvement on the D side of the ball. One game our D stepped up the entire game. The other game, our D played well until it didn't.

It depends in which context you take it. If you a person dislikes him and are looking for something to try a poke fun it sounds bad. The rest that understand what he is trying to do it makes perfect sense.

At least he admits he's not going to win. Acceptance is the first step.

Bert went winless in conference play, had the most losses in Arkansas history, and can't recruit worth a damn. I don't get why he's obsessed with the no-huddle. He has bigger problems.

Of course youre not Bert. Youre going to play crap defense with a crap offense, which is why you havent had a single win in the SEC

Two years from now, after Bert is fired and as his wife is packing up the vast majority of his shite to take with her in accordance with the inevitable divorce settlement, he'll sit back and take a long pull from a crusty can of EZ-Cheez.

With cheez-drool dribbling slightly from the corner of his slack mouth, he'll whisper to himself

"At least I never ran the fricking hurry-up no-huddle."

Yes. If you can score enough you can make up for what the defense gives up. Its just as good as a Defenses that can hold teams to less points so your offense doesn't have to score as much. Besides our defense only gave up 4 more points a game than the #2 defense in the SEC and less than Arkansas with their slow offense.

Now are you ok losing just so you can say you have a coach from the Big10 that went to 3 Rose Bowls?

And there you go. That's changes how person takes what one says. Someone who disliks someone will take anything out of context in order to deface them.

As much as fat Bert enjoys losing, you guys could be in for a long, ugly season.

The upside is that we can hear a lot more about real football, sickle cell anemia, death certificates, HUNH offenses and defenses and its dangers, and I'm particularly excited about Hoganese. Do any of you porkers speak Hoganese? Did your team enjoy losing last year and are they fluent in Hoganese?

God..... I even love saying the word Hoganese!.... Hoganese, Hoganese, Hoganese, Hoganese, Hoganese, Hoganese. Wow..... that's so cool!

I promise I will not miss a single thread started by you guys. There's so much more I want to hear about.
