No flame here, just assessing the Tide's chances of going undefeated. I think the following teams can (not WILL, but CAN) beat Bama:

LSU- rag us if you like, but the game's in Tiger Stadium, the talent margin is very close, and we are coming off a bye. If LSU plays their best game, we can win.

A&M- don't laugh; it all depends on containing Manziel. As much as I hate to admit it, the kid's a gamer. He might give the Tide fits. You really don't know until you face him.

SEC Championship- UGA could win. Jarvis Jones would be the best defensive player on the field; Gurley could be the best RB. UGA playing their best game, I think they win. That said, we haven't seen Georgia's best game in about 5 yrs. I don't think Fla could hang, and if South Carolina is even alive, their shot ended today with Lattimore going down.

Bowl- Notre Dame could beat Bama. Not sure how Saban would react to a dozen phantom flags negating big plays (which would happen), he might lose his mind.

Shortest. Thread. EVAR.

Edit. LSU is and has been the biggest concern all year. If we are good enough to win in BR, then it will be a fluke to lose to anyone else.

Concerned about the LSU game.

SEC- A&M because of mobile QB play

Outside of SEC- Oregon, K state

Those are all I see that stand a chance this year.

This is weak. LSU is the only team with a chance in hell of beating them.

aTm = Raped.

UGa = Raped.

ND = Raped.

Maybe, but doubtful. Hopefully it's close enough for us to be in it at the end.

No, just no. Bama will contain him at least as well as we did, and their offense will do better than we did.

UGA

Not a chance. It would be like last year's SEC Championship, close for a little bit, then a blow out.

Nope.

If they beat us next week, you might as well hand them the crystal. Srs

I partially agree with OP. LSU, given the circumstances of the game, is the most likely team to knock us off. I couple of big offensive plays and their defense can keep them in it. Talent-wise I think we still have the edge, but pulling out a win at a night game in Tiger Stadium is no small feat.

I don't think that UGA has a chance, even after their impressive performance today. Let's face it, Aaron Murray and an offense clicking on all cylinders did not win the game for them today.

I'm on the fence about ND. I'd really like to see that matchup, if for nothing more than the meeting of two schools with a great tradition. Plus it would be a good game, IMO.
