the path to the crown will go through the Premiere State for College Football.
Not a good time to be touting the doormat status of the two programs you are alluding to. The fact that you view yourself as a path for another conference to walk over is very telling.

What's the consensus among the SEC brethren?
The consensus is we aren't too happy that Auburn will always be remembered as the team that ended the SEC streak of BCSNC Titles.
The other "premiere" program also embarrassed the conference in the Sugar Bowl against Choklahoma.

It's my duty as a gump to make sure you remember the events that took place that fateful evening.

The national title will have to go through through the state of Alabama, just like every other state in the Sec. Someone has to win the conference.
I don't think any team will be perfect out of the SEC, and no matter what ESPN , says there is too much money on the line, for committee , to first and foremost have 4 different conferences in the playoff, if at all possible.
The only way an conference gets 2 is your at large team will have to have at least a 1 win advantage over a conference Champion.
Based on the last 2 years at least 4 of 5 P5 champions have finished the season with 2 or fewer losses.
And more than likely the top ranked non champion of the SEC will have at least 2 losses, they will not get in above a 1-2 loses P5 champion.
It is more beneficial $$ for the commitee to select 4 conference champions.

Your qb has proved just as much as ours

Ahhhhhhh...a bama fan deflecting from an uncomfortable subject. If it makes you feel better to go back to 2011 to dull the pain of the last two games bama played go ahead. The losses to Awbarn and Choklahoma were embarrassing and you need to come to terms with that Sir.
Why would you be proud to be considered a state that other teams use as a doormat on the path to a NC? LSU baseball just waltzed into Hoover Al. and walked all over the conference and took home the trophy. How does that make you feel? You need to get your mind right. Have a good day.

Bama fans will deflect that question and tell us how baseball is irrelevant.

Well... together we would have celebrated a win against Bobby Boucher U this year, but fortunately for LSU, the rain spared them.
Yeah, because we needed rain to kick Auburn's arse 6 of the past 7, huh?

Checked the eight ball - It is Certain

Now that was embarrassing.

If only you could speed up Bama's defense like that video. Watching them chase a freshman backup QB while getting picked apart seemed like the game was being played in slow motion.

Yes sir twas embarrassing and I don't need to deflect to make myself feel better about that awful loss. I didn't beat my wife or shoot my neighbor or jump in my 4-wheel drive pickup (that I don't own) and drive recklessly through the trailer park (that I don't live in).
What I want to know is why would fans from the state of Al. want to be known for being doormats for teams from out of state on the path to a NC. It just "don't make no sense" Bubba.

auburn has one title and the SEC streak ending collapse in recent bcs title games. Why any Alabama fan would want to count their participation as part of a statewide accomplishment is beyond me.

You might if the black bears win again this year and the piglets get a win.

At least they have a winning record against Ole Miss, Penn State and Clemson since 2008. Lulz
Should I also throw Florida in there?

I love it when auburn and bama fans dickride each other.
