DSOR. 117 games
COFH- 109 games
TSIO- 95 games
WLOCP - 92 games
IB- 78 games
That's why!
If anything move the IB.

We should start the season with UGA so we can take advantage of the suspended players being out for UGA.

I could deal with late October/early November

I second this.
1st game of the season. We'll get sooo much media hype during the off season will be great exposure for both teams and will have the same intensity if not more because neither team wants to start off with a loss

I wouldn't mind having Auburn the first game of the year so we can take advantage of them breaking in their new JUCO qb

I really don't see another date on the schedule that's more workable than the current date.
I know it isn't ideal for AU to play Georgia and Alabama both away in the same year, but the flip side of that is you get years like last year where they're both at home. There's basically a week off in between to regroup.

But not only does AU have to play either both in road or at home , UGA. had the same deal now with GT.

Exactly. We'd be doing TTSIO a favor by providing a competitive game on that day
UGA takes its bye week before UF on TSIO. Won't happen.

Won't happen; tWLOCP is on or close to Halloween night every year.

If that's really a huge problem then they can play 2 in row in Athens like we did in Auburn. I don't see it as a huge deal though.
It's a bit ridiculous for AU fans to think it would be legit to move the game to the week before or after WLOCP (which is Hallloween weekend) just so they can get DSOR away from their Alabama game.

Let South Carolina and Spurrier know. They gonna hate the idea of playing us at full strength later in the year.

How about playing it on TTSIO?
That would be cool. Used to be Auburn played florida on the 3rd saturday in November and listened to the bama UT game scores. Played UGA the next week. I would love to see the Georgia game moved up to allow that, but that then messes with the WLOCP.

For those that keep bringing this up, the SEC did that so that ALL of the East would host their perm cross-division rivalry one year & ALL of the West would host it the other year.
There's NO OTHER explanation!

Not if you want anybody to watch imho

Well, a lot has changed over 24 years

So it seems kind of foolish to play the tradition card in regards to the WLOCP. The fact that you've been playing it the same weekend for a mere quarter century is meaningless.
