LSU most likely will go 10-3 this year after going 10-3 last year. Bama will most likely go 11-2 this year after going 11-2 last year. Both teams are maintaining an unreal amount of success

If Bama doesn't change OC's then they are going down to LSU next year for sure.

If they can't stop Dobbs, he's gonna do the no brow tap dance all over Brian Dennehy

You know you're doing something right when a potential 10 win season is considered a decline.

Meh..they are probably favorites to win the West next season.

Well like the Cubs fans say: "There's always next year."

I wouldn't say they are declining but rather they are evening out at the same record every year.

Once Bama loses Saturday will you feel the same way?

Even if Alexander and Hawkins leave early, there are a number of talented young OL waiting their turn who will step in and, I think, do a solid job. Guys like Boutte, Dodd, Dormond, Malone, Brumfield and Clapp would all contend for starting jobs.

My concern is with depth behind them. It will have to be supplied in part by true freshmen.

LSU Record

2008: 8-5
2009: 9-4
2010: 11-2
2011: 13-1

What goes up must come down … and then back up again. That's how it work, Ichabod.

Anybody with half a brain knew this would be a "down" year.

2015 and 2016 though should be a hell of a ride with the talent some of these young guys are showing.

Both teams are showing some consistancy year to year. Both fanbases should be happy with these programs IMO.

Thanks. You just saved me a lot of time and heartache next season by not having to watch.

Well yeah but that doesn't fit the shite-talking narrative we got going here.

They replace 4 offensive lineman

Only two starters. The OL will be very good next year once again. Several big, outstanding guys receiving RS this season.

4 is possible. Alexander and Hawkins will go if they are projected high enough. The new evaluation rules for the NFL should help though.

We have very talented guys behind them but inexperienced obviously.

A declining team pushed Alabama to overtime. Interesting.

My expectations of this season weren't to win the West or SEC or NC. Much of a team's success is due to the QB having success. I didn't expect much from either of our two QB's this season. I'm glad we are showing as much promise as we are, because the future of LSU football is bright. It was a great game against Bama this weekend. I enjoyed the game a lot, even though "we didn't have as many points as they did when it was over". Lol

No one said it wasn't possible but it is not probable at this point. And other than Collins, the case could be made that every other position has a more talented player waiting in the wings along with more outstanding guys on the way. The OL will not be a weakness next year and might even be better than the current group.
