Mizzou just doesn't have the athletes to compete long term in the SEC.

Mizzou had the 3rd most combine invites this year, and has the second most 1st round picks over the past 5 years.

I definitely see the talent gap when we play scrub programs like UT.

I think 8-4 or 9-3 is very possible and certainly not better than 9-3. Wait and see.

What a surreal fanbase!

They forgot that Saban knows how to coach and player development.

Everybody who believes that Alabama loses 4 games next year raise your hand. I'm making a list of complete idiots on this forum and need to cross-check to see if I left anyone out.

Put me down on the list.

UGA - Murray is gone, Grantham's swiss cheese defense still sucks, Mark Richt is due for a typical Mark Richt letdown. UGA will have 2009~2010esque decline. 2014 record: 7-5 or 6-6

Bama - New QB and disinterested Saban, sort of like 2010 Urban Meyer with John Brantley. All good things must come to an end. Saban's turning point was the 2013 IB loss. When a great boxer gets knocked the frick out for the first time, it's never the same afterwards. People will be on Saban's arse for each losses. 2014 record: 8-4

Mizzou - They had one fluke year because just about every teams in the East were either down or plagued with injuries. Mizzou just doesn't have the athletes to compete long term in the SEC. 2014 record: 7-5

Feel free to add more.

here's my 2013 #tDecline prediction FWIW

UGA - tAscension is what you meant to say. Murray is gone, but QB is not a position we have to worry about like UT. We still have the best QB coaches in the conference and more talent on the chart at that position than all the other East teams combined.

Also, Grantham isn't here anymore, just how do you expect us to take any of this seriously when you don't even seem to know that?

Disagree on Bama too, though you are correct about Mizzou taking a step back. Maybe not exactly how you say or for those reasons though.

UT won't be a big decline, but considering what most Vol fans seem to be expecting, it will be the Rudest Awakening. You guys have a rough schedule. I'm not sure how good Utah State and Ark State will be next year, but if they're as good as they have been lately, then Tennessee could EASILY go 1-11 next year.
