Yet not a running back.

Would Pachall have made a difference tonight?

Patterson is a good coach.

Hard to believe that would affect them offensively.

Pachall's cokehead arse wouldn't of been the starter this yr anyway, even if he wasn't hurt. Most overrated QB in the Big 12

Undoubtedly. Deep seam open all day. Boykins couldn't make them pay.

He already was the starter, Jack.

Yea and TT played with a walk on true freshman and a backup true freshman at QB.

It's hilarious seeing you and Mullen 3:16 pop up in every single TCU thread to talk about how bad LSU really is.

8. TCU QB Casey Pachall will grow into a star as the season goes on
It wasn’t like E.J. Manuel came out of nowhere last year, and any comparisons to RG3 are a little off, but every year there’s a quarterback who rises up in a big hurry in the pro scouting ranks and turns into a key prospect in the process. If the off-the-field issues can be spun into a changed-man-now positive, Pachall has the talent and the potential to become a gamechanger throughout the season. Trevone Boykin got the key reps against LSU, but Pachall wasn’t exactly turned loose completing 9-of-16 passes for 75 yards and a pick. Watch for him to quickly rebound and become one of the top three quarterbacks taken in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Pachall has been shite this year, and Boykin is more mobile... He's the better QB whether you want to admit it or not.

I have a link, you don't know what you're taking about. Boykin is a running back.

They have a two qb system boykins played alot against lsu

Yes, they have a two QB system. Pachall is the pro-style passer and Boykin is the so-called "double threat" read-option guy. The problem is that Boykin isn't really a double threat because he can't pass very well. That's why Pachall is the starter and they use Boykin as a change of pace. He can come in and do something in that role, but he can't carry the offense for the whole game. This is exactly what happened last year. With Pachall, they were cruising along at 4-0. Then they lost him to a DUI, and with Boykin trying to carry the whole load, limped to a 7-6 finish.

You realize pachall sucked arse before he got hurt last weekend right, against some garbage team?

Regardless, what is the point of this argument? Boykin looked better against LSU. TCUs season will have zero effect on LSUs season.

I just like pointing out when people make things up like you clearly did. You got busted. Just own it.

Yep because these are always so correct. Let me guess they also had Barkley going #1 overall before last season too?

There's really no argument that an actual quarterback is better than a running back pressed into full time duty.

heading into tonight:
Pachall: 17/30 175yards 0tds/1int 2sacks 99.0
Boykin: 15/25 203yards 2td/0int 1sack 154.6

so tell me again how pachall is a beter option for tcu.... this doesn't even mention boykin having more rush yards....

face the facts, rick you're fricking clueless....

boykin also had 300 yards of offense tonight... he was all TCU had. to think pachall is a better option after the way he played in two games is borderline retarded.

You're right, correction:

He would not of finished the season as the starter given both were healthy
