We have paid pizza delivery drivers to take us places before. Offer them 20 bucks to take you around, then another 20 for the pizza they are supposed to be delivering. It worked in Gainesville.

1. Check in the lobby of your hotel for posted Taxi services.
2. Stay connected to your driver to let him know where you are and your needs.

I have had great service on game days. It takes a little time to pick everyone up and maneuver through the traffic but it is safe and can be a lot of fun.

Before you leave your hotel put the number of about 3 or 4 cab services in your phone. Call one of them to take you from the hotel to the bars and let the guy know you will be calling back in a few hours for return service. They will be on the lookout for you. The other services you put in your phone are just in case you can't connect with your cabbie.

Cabs in Tuscaloosa don't have meters so the driver will just ask where you are going and name a price.

Oh yeah, another 1 night resident of the pink room here. Cheers.
