Pretty much. 'Success was our killer'? It was UA's struggles with the HUNH that's been evident and OU simply outclassed them the entire game.

Aj made several good points. Nothing he said was incorrect or made up.

Thanks for sharing.

I also believe the Saban to Texas rumors hurt Bama. I believe some of the kids wasn't sure and more or less quit.

Bama was possibly one play for potentially playing for a third straight BCS title. Why is everyone acting like Bama completely shite the bed this season? Yes Bama didn't meet the goal they set out to meet at the start of the season, but considering no other team in BCS history had won two straight much less 3 I would say 3 out of 5 with top ten finishes the other two seasons is doing ok.

Thank you. This is why I always get a healthy chuckle when I see people say "Bama on a two game losing streak". If that's the worst thing that can be said about the quality of our program over the past 5 years, I'll take it. People always want to throw stones at the guy who is on top.

Former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron has been making the rounds at the Super Bowl, discussing his preparation for the NFL Draft

From what I've read, Manziel stayed away from the SB and is working on his game. Good for him.

Maybe McCarron has much lower expectations about his draft stock so he skips the Sr Bowl and works on his PR at the SB.

I may not like AJ much, but he is 100% correct in his assessment, which is far from throwing anyone under the bus. Most of the post-season reaction on the staff has been consistent with this thinking, and it showed on and off the field in 2013.

Maybe he just wanted to go to the Super Bowl. Maybe he's meeting with NFL types in New York. You know, since a whole lot will be there.

If you'll check the stats of both games they lost, you can see why/how Alabama beat themselves. It doesn't take away from the teams that won, but is an indictment of the focus of Alabama for those games.

Oh yeah, McCarron is absolutely right...the guy WILL speak his mind.

show me these stats and I promise you I can debate with you about how AU and OU had something to do with it.

And idk what the stats even are.
