A&M has never fired a coach after one bad season. Ever. If anything, we hold on too long (Fran).
If Sumlin wins 11 games this year, he deserves a fucing statue. To do what he is doing in the SEC with average talent AT BEST on defense and no depth anywhere on the roster is amazing.

I would not be surprised at KK getting a HC job offer, but I'd be surprised if he took it just now. 3 more years of JFF? He'll be be most sought-after OC in the country. If Tuberville retires soon I'd expect him to bolt to Tech. Otherwise I think we've got him for a while. I'm more worried about our 3 projected 1st round Junior NFL linemen. We want 'em all back.

KK will wait out Tubbs and goto Tech as his first HC job imo (his alma mater). He's still very young and has a lot to learn if he's going to run an entire team.
