It is a hate thread as the OP made pretty clear.
And making a lawn off limits is somewhat silly. When I go to Washington DC, they don't chew your arse out if you walk on the grass in the National Mall. There are several memorials on the National Mall but I'm not aware of a single one where walking on the grass is strictly verboten.
Honestly, I would guess the not walking on the lawn started out as a way to haze the plebes or whatever you call the noobs at A&M. Sounds like a typical hazing tradition that any of the military academies would adopt.
Sorry if we seem like unholy unpatriotic assholes for even thinking to question one of your ubersacred traditions.

Having lived in Tyler, Tx for a few years when I was younger I can tell talk first hand on how delusional they are, they honestly think their program is on the same level as a Texas of Bama, LSUpleaze knockout their faggie quarterback.Im tired of hearing about the skinny midget quarterback.
