184 rushing yards given up to Appalachian State

296 passing yards given up to Florida

No team has scored FEWER than 13 points on Tennessee this year.

Definitely eye opening stats. At least they are forcing teams to be one dimensional.

A&M gave up a lot of late yardage to teams when games were in hand but getting in the end zone was still very tough. Points and wins are what matters. A&M's style is very aggressive with lots of pressure on the QB and lots of sacks and TFL, they also give up some plays because of that aggressiveness. If you get into 3rd and long though you better be accurate and able to stay in the pocket even though you are going to get hammered.

That said our weakness is at CB. We aren't horrible but we have way too many PI's and give up some plays. Our LB's are decent but not spectacular. The DE's and Safeties tho....

The good news for Tennessee is that you rely on big busted plays and hail mary's for your touchdowns, so you won't have to deal with A&M's impressive goalline defense.

Meh. 75 of this was on the first play where they busted one for a TD. Outside of that rush play, Cocks rushed for 88 yards with a 2.5 average.

Was it the 1999 game when Damon Duval got kicked off the sideline by Tuberville?
