So you're saying you have the best defense we've faced all year? Interesting.

Except we aren't claiming to be unbeatable on the road.

BTW, the only SEC team with a winning record against ranked teams on the road since 2008 is Bama.

WTF? How does a team get ranked number 1 in Tiger Stadium? Is this some strange separate ranking made up by someone only for Tiger Stadium? I thought LSU was "number 1" in Tiger Stadium?

Bama dropped 38 on you without McCarron even breaking a sweat. You play defense like you did against them or Ole Miss and we'll have 35 by halftime.

I think he thought 38 was a lot of points for us...

Yes and no. We'll perform better than Alabama's defense did in September because we're not going to be as hilariously inept against Manziel's running ability and Mike Evans as they were. Alabama is obviously the better defense, and if they played y'all in November, would match up better. But I think we match up better now than they did in September.

We match up better than y'all think; y'all don't have the interior running game needed to beat us down like Alabama (and Georgia, for that matter) did. I'm not really sure where the Ole Miss comparison comes from since they only scored 27. Our offense lost us that game with all the INTs and the piss-poor job in pass blocking. I could see that happening again but I wouldn't bet on it*.

*: Then again, I wouldn't bet shite on a game where the O/U on points may well break 80...

But he controlled the game well, which was his job. (The "TD" stat is overrated, imho. If you move the ball into position to score, nobody cares if you punch it in with a pass or a run.) He played careful, smart football and didn't make mistakes. I think he recovered his own fumble. The one they lost was dropped by a running back, iirc.

As I said, Manziel's better. There's really no question there. But Bo really did orchestrate the offense very well. And there are the other factors I mentioned to consider. TAMU can outpace LSU, without a doubt, but y'all have been shown to be vulnerable to worse teams than the Tigers.
