I editied the OP with pics of my wishlish, because last year was our first year tailgating away from the fraternity house since it was dry at the time. My current capital is not very built up, hence the thread.

But please, post pictures when possible. As someone else said, this thread is a shadow of itself without pictures.

You can't go wrong with a green egg and a Yeti.

But, you better have some wheels to transport both if you've got a long walk to your tailgate area. Both of those phuckers are heavy as hell.

I don't know anything about a good tent, as we pay a service to setup our tent, TV w/Dish, tables & chairs, etc. It's a hell of a lot easier than hauling all that shite to the Quad.

Go off-shore for a couple of days? Sure. Cool down your Nattys for tailgating? Naw.

Yeah, have a couple of friends that do serious deep sea fishing and they swear by them.

Yeah - Yeti's are all show if all you are doing is opening up 200 times getting a cold beer out at a tailgate. A friend of mine has one but hunts elk in New Mexico so yeah - it's worth it for that.

But worth the cost? Looked at them, and I can have an Ice truck stay at our tailgate for about the same amount of money

You'll love your Yeti. But, before you spend the $$, decide how you intend to use it. You get those bigass coolers and it takes a damn army to transport them.

I've got a large one for the boat, and a smaller one for tailgating, etc. My wife has her own and it holds about a 12 pack, which is fine for everyday use.

When those September games hit a heat index in the triple digits, throw a little rocksalt on the ice in a Yeti, and you've got a damn good chilly pop for a beer.

Coming late on the Parliament discussion. I don't think it was mentioned, but the recessed filter is for discreetly bumping coke at said tailgate. Tailgating essential for Ole Miss, Bama, and UGA.

I would eat Abner's chicken tenders for the rest of life before I would fool with getting a green egg to our tailgate spot. The only time I see those in Starkville is on SBD weekend and the pig cooking stuff. That's just flat out being ostentatious to take a green egg to a tailgate!

Cheezag03... Super Dave is that you?

As for our tailgate :

5 canopies
New sound system with iPhone dock (4 foot tall)
Liquor Cabinet
2 beer pong tables
Live Music for 2-3 games a year
And most importantly (after hot snatch) a liquor distributor sponsorship

MasterGators has it's own FB page, it's own rTailgate page, Twitter, YouTube channel, and when someone gets off their lazy arse we'll have a .com page.

We've won awards on TV and have appeared on a Verses TV show.

Gear:
Dedicated trailer 5x8 for now, 7x16 in planning.
Inflatable Gator
4 Gator tents
46" Sony LCD HDTV
2 x 32" Sony LCD HDTV
DirecTV x 3 (w/ DVR)
Surround Sound
Multiple fans
Blender
3 gas grills
Smoker
Camp oven
Camp stove
Microwave
Fridge
Seating for 12 in TV tent, astroturf on ground
Seating for 18 in dining tents
2 cornhole courts w/ custom embroidered cornhole bags
Beer pong table
Bar
Multiple Marine coolers
2 Honda generators (4000w)

We can setup in under an hour. DirecTV takes 5 min to get up and running once boxes are plugged in and dish is bolted to side of trailer.

My next project is to take a similar utility trailer, extend the tongue to hold a BBQ pit, and then outfit the inside.
