The never "pulled out" because they were never "in". The BCS didn't have any kind of contractual agreement with the AP, the BCS was just using their rankings. Then the AP said "no, you can't use them anymore"
At least that's how I remember it, if anyone knows better please correct me.

You'd only need to spend about 5 min reading the jealous BS from the Bama pricks on this board to grow a real nice desire for Bama to lose at everything they compete in. With very few exceptions, the Gumps on here do a world-class job of stoking Bama hatred.

Yes, that is exactly what happened. The AP never had any agreement with the BCS, and after the 2004 season the AP told the BCS to stop using their rankings. But, I didn't say anything in response to him because, I figured, why bother arguing with an idiot?

My reasons are completely selfish, of course.
1) If Florida wins another BCS NC this year, they will have 3 this decade we will have 2. If ANY other team wins it, worst case we are tied for most NCs. If Bama wins it, we are tied only with Florida
2) One of my major reasons for hating Bama above all was that my best friend growing up was a Gump - and back then bama beat us all the time. His family were all Gumps. I got back in touch with the dude and had lunch with him a few months ago - turns out - he's an LSU fan now! (he went to LSU)
3) Florida is the media favorite now. How could I not hate them?
because florida has a chance to win a third this decade does not make me hate them,just makes me wanna beat them more,GUMPS on the other hand talk a lot of bs ,some of witch i don't think they believe them selves,saban has to have no sperm left in him with the gumps lining up to suck his dick,they are and always will be the trash of the sec as for as i'm concerned . GUMPS GET MY VOTE!

I actually feel sorry for Gumps. The poor guys got nothing but the past. A fairly distant past, too, in football time.

Typically, when writing prose, we use spaces after commas. We do not jam two words together with only a comma between them. I realize you probably never made it through elementary school, so I thought I'd share this little tidbit with you.
Next week, I'll teach you how to construct non run-on sentences.
Perhaps one day you'll even learn the basics of capitalization.

PFD? Are you referring to a Ph.D.? God, I hope not.
And I normally wouldn't correct people's grammar. But, when someone writes sentences below the level of most five year olds, then, yeah, I'm gonna say something.
