I think after we lost to Tenn. Oats knew we would not win the SEC nor be higher r=than a 4 seed (see Auburn who won the SEC and still got a 4 seed) so I thin k Oats kind of gave the team a break, starting playing around with different players to see how they fit, gave us a bit of a rest, then to get ready for the NCAA het got nasty with them, if you want to win in the NCAA bring 40 minutes of defense every night.

The Bama win put me (Bamadog 64) #1 in the SEC NCAA Bracket

By the way, the Tenn, fan who said this was the first time he ever pulled for Bama in anything, well yea, you have beaten us twice, a Bama game at the end would be appealing for you guys, no doubt.

Not a Bama fan, but OK. At this point, I’m good with any team who hasn’t won it, or who hasn’t won it in at least 40 years. That means anyone but Duke, Carolina, or UCONN.

The Field of 68
@TheFieldOf68

??ELITE??

The first player in NCAA Tournament history 20+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5 blocks, and 2 3-pointers in a single game: GRANT NELSON.

To repeat, Grant Nelson just had one of the best games in NCAA a tournament history.

I did not see that coming.

Neither did North Carolina. The only question I have is what Grant does for an encore.

my favorite part about this is how Oates passive aggressively commented in the first interview how UNC has guys hitting 3s that normally don’t

then his Dakota white bread has the best game of his entire life and bacot misses a dunk

Our best 3 point shooter didn't even play.

44% on 149 attempts.

44% is lower than 100%

And then they reverted to form, which was exactly his point.

Wrightsell is the #6 offensive efficiency player in the country and has basically been a non factor due to injury during this run.

I mean, a 30% shooter hitting his first two is a LOT more likely than a 17% shooter hitting his first three
