I was surprised when I noticed Mizzou's backup running back, Crockett, has stronger 2016 stats than LSU's Fournette. Yet, Fournette is famous and Crockett is a complete unknown (even to Mizzou fans).

Here are the 2016 stats for each running back up to this point in the season:

Crockett (Mizzou)
34 CAR, 210 YDS, 3 TD

Fournette (LSU)
67 CAR, 386 YDS, 2 TD

I don't see any more MEAC teams on Missouri's schedule, so I doubt it.

So if LF had played 4 games last year, and those 4 games were Arkansas, Alabama, and two cupcakes... we'd probably see similar numbers.

and I think people are overlooking the fact that Crockett isn't even Mizzou's starting running back (at least not yet).

So far Crocket has received little playing time.

I think that will change before the end of the season.

Dear Killz,

I recently took part in your thread regarding a SWOT analysis of LSU. Unfortunately, life called me away from my computer and I missed whether or not you returned the favor of providing a SWOT analysis of Mizzou. Instead of living in past, could you provide a SWOT analysis of Crockett for LSU fans so we know what level of tScared to have this weekend?

Respectfully,
TFS4E

Just so I'm clear here, we are ready to say that Georgia and West Virginias defenses are on the same level as Bama and Arkansas?

Strengths - Powerful legs. Great field vision. Strong cuts. Crockett runs down field, not toward the sidelines.

Weaknesses - Prone to fumbling. For whatever reason is second on running back depth chart when in fact he's better than our starting running back, Ish Whitter (who either runs into our line or toward the sideline).

Opportunities - Mizzou's running game explodes the more Crockett carries the ball. Running Crockett more will enable Mizzou to more efficiently setup our pass attack, which is strong this year.

Threats - Ish Whitter. The coaches love him for some mindboggling reason. The more Ish Whitter carries the ball, the more likely the offense goes 3 and out.

NOTE: I expect Ish Whitter to start the game against LSU. If Whitter only gains one or two yards and the offense sputters a few times, I expect to see Crockett.

Also, Mizzou has a secret weapon in short yardage situations. If Coach Odom decides to go for it on 4th and one, expect to see 6'4" 335 pound Josh Augusta (Defensive Tackle) step in at fullback.

Imagine this dude coming at you full speed! He's a beast.

He's a troll, it's all he does. He's not even creative anymore because he posts too much and starts too many threads

See, I was thinking responses like your response are the responses which lack original thought and creativity.

Perception is everything...amirite?

All Mizzou did on Saturday is give LSU and everyone else more game film to look at.

Appreciate it Barry, this will come in handy.
