It's not as small as people make it out to be... The ball just really carries down there... We need one of these MSU/LSU turned ULL fans that have been there to games to explain it to us.

I thought it was too but looked it up. It's real similar in dimensions to Dudy Noble. I thought maybe power alleys were short and that was their secret but not true.
If they are not kicking in the teeth of your own team, they are really fun to watch. They have power when the pitching allows it, small ball when pitching requires it and team speed that is dazzling and always putting pressure on the defense. Their outfield is extremely fast on defense and the infield makes really good defensive plays. Pitching is really good; maybe not great but plenty deep for a best 2 of 3. That's all I got.

He's been here since 09. He's probably seen the light since then.

I really want you guys to win... Really like the way your team plays the game... I also want to watch Kyle Peterson's smarmy arse bitch about it.

Interesting so they're going #2, #1, #3 in their rotation then?

Yeah, they pitched Quantrill for three innings in Monday's game against Indiana, so I think he needed the day of rest.

All the more reason for Beede to pitch well and win game 1.

Its an all turf field, even the dirt is turf, so the ball takes funny hops.

The wall is not symmetrical, so doubles can turn into triples or worse fairly easily.

The ball carries, the dimensions are bigger than most, but don't let that fool you.

Hope you get over the hump, Ole Miss. Your fans deserve this one.

Not true...the balls take perfect hops off the turf.

Wall isn't in perfect shape, but I have never seen a bad hop off the wall. It is symmetrical just beaten up a little.

Just focus on Ole Miss actually doing something for once and get to CWS and win it instead of all the petty butt hurt shite

Just looking over Stanford's postseason stats, they apparently hit 9 bombs in their regional. I guess they forgot we play with terrible bats.

Stanford has the most AB's (178), Triples (3), & HR's (9) in the postseason. Something to think about.

Stanford also has the most R's (20) & ER's (18) given up, along with throwing the most BB's (23) & K's (36) in the postseason.

So some good stats & then bad stats to go along with it.

Whether Vandy wins this one will depend on our ability to limit Stanford's extra base hits. Saturday's game should be a game to watch though with their ace facing Fulmer.
