Yeah, you didn't know Atwater averaged 120 tackles a game? Dude was a beast.

At you counting meaningless pro-bowls. They both were 2-time 1st team All-Pros and that is what matters. Pro Bowl has always been a token award, it only matters when one player made a bunch of them and the other guy made almost none.

Regardless, you're splitting hairs whichever way you lean in this argument. I'll take Scott personally, because I'd rather have the ball back than a big hit.

Tried to find his tackle stats to compare, but as we all know tackles are not really an official stat, weren't counted by the NFL at all until 2001 and apparently during Jake's time, literally nobody counted them. I know he was a very sure tackler, but not a big hitter.
