won the lottery at uh with briles leaving him with keenum at qb

won the lottery at a&m with sherman leaving him with johnny and evans.

won the lottery with knight after his two star qbs transferred thanks to his poor leadership. sumlin owes knight for the rest of his life. without him, sumlin would have been fired already and a&m would be 1-5 right now.

Solid 2-3 am post.

Really glad Sumlin's success this season keeps you up at night.

Can't wait for tomorrow night's dissection on Butch Jones.

I don't know if Sumlin is overrated or not. He hired Mazzone and Chavis and it's obvious that he can identify his weaknesses and strengths and play to them, something that a coach like Les Miles couldn't.

So far he's been fairly successful. I think his best days as a coach are ahead of him.

There is a poster on Texags who, despite being a sip, is actually one of the funnier, intelligent, and self aware posters around.

You are obviously not that poster.

Without 7 Tenn turnovers they lose last week plus 2-3 more like every year.

Sent his friend and right-hand man Mark Snyder packing when it had become apparent he had to.

Stole John Chavis from LSU because he could.

Top-10 recruiting classes year after year. Lots of linemen and defensive stars as well as offensive skill players.

Major facility upgrades, all of which have been lauded by everyone who know anything as major successes.

Nutrition, strength, and conditioning programs that have, in five years, tranformed a Big 12 middleweight to an SEC West contender.

Got Trevor Knight with a return phone call.

Currently 6-0, 4-0 in the SEC, ranked #7 in the nation, with the #8 recruiting class and counting.

Awesome defensive line and backfield; linebackers exceeding expectations. Offensive line, 3/5 underclassmen, leading the league in rushing. Being lauded by every talking head as a complete football team, special teams included.

That Kevin Sumlin is one lucky dude.
