Unless you are actually afraid it will happen, what is the reason for your hesitation?
Ill accept it if we lose, but not because we are overrated. You don't win the SEC and 12 games being overrated. No one said Alabama is an NFL pro bowl team. So Ill say this. Ill accept shame in losing to a team we shouldn't lose to because we are a better team. The best team doesn't always win for several factors. Otherwise Alabama would have won every game since 2009. Losing to Ole Miss this season was disappointing but because we lost to a defense that played as solid as they did and Treadwell is such a talented receiver, all while being at Ole Miss. To top it off with losing 4 starters to injury. I will accept that and give Ole Miss credit, but I don't think anyone one of them would say they would beat us again if we played today.
So saying that, we won't lose to OSU, but I accept your little bull shite challenge and vow to feel shame. Not because you think we are overrated though. Now go frick yourself

This is the secrant brotha. We don't need you to tell us this. Everyone here is praying for a BAMA loss so they can crow all offseason about how we lost to a bad football team. That was and always will be the narrative. Regardless of who the first round opponent ended up being, they were going to be considered bad by the rant. It's how we hedge our bets around here

I was very clear in the OP that I do not think Alabama is overrated. If however, Alabama, to my shock as well as yours, somehow loses to Ohio St, then I believe it necessary to reevaluate my perception of the team.
You, however, by the looks of your post, would not take it as an indication of a flaw in your beloved team, but as a flaw in the game of football.

I'll go one further and say that Wisconsin threw their game in the B1G championship. The Bama OSU game won't be closer than 20 points.
You know, I'm not sure what happened there.... but if you consider the favorite with spread points, I don't think I've ever seen a 63 point swing against the spread. SIXTY THREE POINT SWING. Jeebus.

Yes we know. Any team tOSU beats is overrated, no matter the circumstance. Any SEC west team would contend in the NFL. We get it.
