Does anyone have a list of student sections by capacity? Just curious?

I know the official allotment for SC is a little over 9,000. For bigger games with higher demands I imagine quite a few more students get in but there is some official #.

AU's runs from mid endzone to about the 40 yard line.



Section 28 to section 16 or so

So after doing the math and multiplying those precentages by the stadium capacities, here are the approximate sizes of the student sections:

UF's isnt really all that scattered..it just spans a good 1/4 of the stadium. The whole east stands (aside from the first few rows between the the 20's) is student section. And the north endzone, lower bowl is the student section.

So basically 21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 30 ..aside from the first few rows in 34, 36, 38, & 40

Georgia's students are scattered pretty well throughout the stadium. The majority are in sections 108-113 (about the 40 yd. line behind visitors bench toward the end zone), 308-313 (right above the lower level students),and section 143-148 (the west end zone near the bridge).

I think ours still starts at the fifty and goes all the way around to most of the endzone. Our allotment is 11,000

We have 2/3 main ones.

-The first one is for the late arriving pussies who don't care about the game. They are there to socialize, be seen, and get blackout. This is sections 138-144.
-The "best" one is from about 109-113. This is the one that gets filled early. This is where the chest painters sit that you see on TV. Definitely the loudest of the 3 simply due to numbers. Also the best actual seat. The only downside is there's a lot of chochs.
-The last is from ~309 to ~315. This is the fraternity section. Very spirited, but poor attendance and never punctual for early games. Night games they are great though. Will throw things, so look out below. They also beat on the metal parts of the ribbon board below them for added noise.

How early do most other schools get to the games to get decent seats? When I was a student I'd try to be in the stadium about an hour before, and that would usually put me about 15-20 rows off the field (slightly higher for big games).

Ours only shows up midway thru the first quarter because of the hangover from the night before.

And don't ask us to be loud.

False. I guess you're trying to be funny. The lower corner section is filled about 30 minutes before kickoff, and starts filling 2 hours prior when the gates open. They are always loud and always full. The douches that come late sit in the endzone, but they can at least provide some good noise if the time calls for it. Really, regardless of section, our student performance is pretty much 100% dependent on what time KO is and the opponent. We've had noon kickoffs every game this year so of course it's not going to be badass. But with a 7:45 ESPN game against a big SEC team, EVERYONE is rocking, and on time too.
