Not sure what others have said publicly, but it sounds like SEC coaches as a collective could be all out of fricks to give.

"If this doesn’t change on a national level, then you’ll see everyone of us out there in full force all over the country,” Kentucky’s Mark Stoops said shortly after emerging from a meeting of coaches at the SEC spring meeting in Sandestin.
“If that’s what we want to do nationally,” Stoops warned, “then we’ll be glad to partake in that.”

I thought the SEC maintained that they're against it, but if they're going to allow it then frick it?

Stoops does not speak for the SEC on any subject matter of which I'm aware. Why would he?

Seems like he's conveying the sentiment from the coaches as a collective that while against it, if guys like Harbaugh are going to do it he's also going to get a taste of his own medicine.
I hadn't seen anyone else really speak as strongly about it. Thought it'd be at least a decent offseason discussion.
But feel free to troll on.

Basically yes. SEC is against it but if NCAA will not stop others from having them in our back yard, SEC schools will have them everywhere.

How is that a troll?
He's just stating the obvious. That's not speaking for the balance of the SEC coaches.
If Mac said something about this subject, I wouldn't claim he was speaking for the SEC. Anyway, it's beer thirty. I'll take that now.
Those downvotes hurt.

dont see him as speaking for the SEC as much as standing something as-matter-of-fact.

Who is this Stoops character?

So you don't think the rest of the SEC coaches don't share that sentiment? You know "speaking for" can be conveying a message and not the new magical Grand Pumba of SEC coaches right?
Posted on 6/12/15 at 3:25 pm to BluegrassBelle
I guess he's stating what everyone else is probably speaking.
He can now speak for the rest as Grand Pumba. That's fine.

You know you've worked with kids too long when Poobah is autocorrected to Pumba(a). But continue on.

I think Stoops got elected as speaker of the coaches on this, he's the type to not give a frick and say it like it is.
Others will go into their mumbo jumbo coach talk shite. Stoops won't, he'll call it like it is.
Imagine Bert, he'd have to call Saban and ask him what he's supposed to say next, and then go into spiel about playing fast and injuries, then the interviewers would have to remind him of the subject at hand, he has to call Saban again for which way he's supposed to lean.
Stoops was perfect guy to make the comment.

Dantonio already has thrown a fit over Stoops recruiting Ohio. I can only imagine the reaction from the B1G if the rest of the SEC showed up.

Stoops has been recruiting north into Ohio. He needs to hold one in Cincy and get coach Cal to show up.

Saban has deep roots in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. I'd love for him to set up camps there.

We are and we're proposing a rule but it was decided at the last meeting (a few weeks ago) that if the proposed NCAA rule change/ban failed to pass then we'd change our own ban.
So yes, Stoops is speaking for us on this.
