Sounds like you are concerned. Why are you concerned?

Not concerned. I have always been curious when you see or hear about decisions made by high level people that are questionable. It’s like they have to show everyone how smart they are by not making the decision that everyone else knows is the right one because that decision would be to obvious.

Make up your mind, was it a home run hire or not?

Home run hire that you've been on for 2 years and then on the turn of a hat you decided he couldn't get it done and at best would but "scrappy" teams on the field.

DeBoer is a homerun hire

I'm satisfied.

I've been high on DeBoer for nearly 2 years. Check my record.

So, this is a typical response from a fan who doesn't know much.

Didn't bother Kirby keeping his team together. And they had a better case for making the playoffs than FSU.

Didn't you say this was a home run hire?

I thought DeBoer would have the good sense to call and reconfirm the offers to recruits that Saban had given. DeBoer had to know if Saban was recruiting a kid they were better than any kid he was recruiting.

There's only one Kirby. You can't see that yet?

Alabama still has a long way to fall to reach LSU FYI

Really, you think so?

Number 7 class 2024
Number 1 class 2025

Two back to back 10 wins seasons
1 SECCG appearance following an off season wherein he started with 39 scholarship players

Indeed.....Kiffin would have been the best hire.

Kiffin burned bridges at Alabama years ago. If anyone is at fault for Kiffin not being hired, it's Kiffin himself.

Not saying he would a worse or better hire, just that he was never really considered.

Bama may need Kiffin. It's not the other way around.

Homerun with offensive X and Os. Recruiting? It's not looking good so far.

IMO DeBour is obviously a great coach and gets the most out of his players . If he was able to go 14-0 including beating Texas then just think what he'll do with the talent still left at Bama . Im a die hard LSU fan but its not all gloom and doom as some say .

The obvious decision isn't always the best decision in the long run. I'll wait and pass judgement after seeing the product DeBoer puts on the field.

I think Byrne really thought he was getting Lanning

Agree. I don’t think Byrne or Saban anticipated Lanning saying no.

Byrne is supposed to be on Finebaum today, why don't you call in and ask him? According to him DeBoer was his first choice. Do you have the sack to call in and call him a liar?
