Do you remember all that bull shite after week 1 about how WVU "should have beat Bama"? How they "dropped a lot of passes" and shite? Well, multiply that times about ten for KSU's missed opportunities, because they legitimately should have beaten Auburn last Thursday.

You realize we dropped 6 passes right? One to Duke Williams that would have been an easy TD and he dropped another one that would have probably gone for about 30-40 yards. We left quite a bit out on the field as well. Neither team was squeaky clean, but we still won the game at a venue that's very hard to win at.

We also held K St to 40 yards on the ground after they'd avg'd about 240 a game so far, I believe.

Huh? I guess they just got unlucky when their receivers couldn't catch and they forgot to recruit a legitimate kicker

Ours couldn't catch either. But we outplayed them in their house in their biggest OOC game ever

No. I am just too damn old to care about things I can't control. Win the west, then the SEC. That's all AU has control of. The rest will work it's self out. Rankings this early are for fans of teams who are not used to being ranked this high.

True. And when you are the defending SEC champ, you get everyone's best game.

You didnt outplay them. You out unshit the bed them.

Take the uniforms off and it looks like Vandy and Umass. Your wr's dropped passes because your qb sucks and when the ball does hit them in the hand they are so shocked they drop it.

KState got Cade Fostered, and Auburn's annual preseason excuse of tough schedule is about to be the retort to all of Auburn's problems.

Would be happy to swap you Bama's schedule year in and out, but Auburn needs a tough schedule to over come the bias we face. No Auburn fan expects to get #1 votes until we start whipping the teams everyone is in love with first.

You're right AU didn't dominate a ranked team on the road on Thursday night. They suck. Give all the votes to the team who struggled for four quarters with West Virginia in a virtual home game.

They haven't gotten any #1 votes because nobody sane thinks they are the best team in the country.

#5 in nation. With our schedule we will be #1 if we win out... Who cares

This is true of the entire SEC West though. A 14-0 SEC champion is going to be the #1 seed.

Why does it matter? I listened to this same topic on XM 91 & seriously does it matter in week 3.

We'll here this all year, but nobody will beat us so we'll just be #1 anyway.
